Description:
We are in search of a SEC Reporting Manager to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within the finance industry, focusing on SEC reporting requirements and financial report generation. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and resolve financial reporting-related issues and problems
- Work extensively with automated accounting systems from data entry through output analysis and financial report generation
- Ensure the accurate preparation and review of Forms 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K, adhering to strict deadlines
- Maintain proficiency in SEC reporting requirements and stay updated with changes in disclosure requirements
- Utilize your skills in CPA, XBRL Tagging, Annual Financial Reporting, External Reporting Requirements, Monthly Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting to ensure high-quality work
- Contribute to the research and resolution of complex financial reporting issues
- Work collaboratively with other team members to process comments from various contributors in a timely manner
- Leverage your experience with accounting software systems and XBRL for efficient report generation and analysis.
- Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Proficient in XBRL and XBRL Tagging.
- Experience in Annual Financial Reporting is essential.
- Familiar with External Reporting Requirements.
- Able to conduct Monthly Financial Reporting.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting is necessary.
- Must have strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
