Description:
Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a part time Second Chef to be part of the team in Belleaire House Care Home. Overlooking the picturesque town of Greenock and River Clyde beyond, Belleaire House is set within an impressive Victorian Mansion, only 40 minutes from Glasgow. Featuring fully-furnished ensuite rooms, modernised to high safety standards, the home provides exceptional levels of care to frail, elderly residents and those living with dementia.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Preparing home cooked nutritious meals for our residents
- Strong culinary skills and creativity to prepare appetizing meals.
- Proficiency in food safety practices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements and food allergies is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef to plan, prepare, and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure Food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless food service and resident satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Adhere to food budget guidelines and assist in minimising waste.
