ABOUT US

The Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) is an international all-day school consisting of a campus in the north of Munich (in Haimhausen) and a campus in Munich-Schwabing. Around 1,200 students from more than 60 nations between the ages of 3 and 18 attend the recognized IB World School including kindergarten. Under the motto “Believe. Inspire. Responsibilities:

  • Carries out day-to-day business, e.g. phone calls, emails, confirmation letters etc.
  • Maintains the daily Secondary School student attendance and provides telephone follow-up as necessary.
  • Is responsible for communicating changes in the children’s daily routine to teachers, students, transportation or after school activities coordinator.
  • Assists in the planning and carrying out of Secondary School events, such as Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent Information Evenings, Curriculum mornings, new student orientation day etc.
  • Assists with the scheduling and co-ordination of meetings between parents and teachers.
  • Updates Secondary School intranet sites with relevant information for parents, students, and staff (e.g. document resources, blog and bulletin posts).
