As a SecOps Engineer, you will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents. You will collaborate closely with IT and security team members to safeguard our systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain composed under pressure.
‍‍ As a SecOps Engineer

at Ivy Partners, you will be in charge of :

  • Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for potential security breaches and anomalies.
  • Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analyses to determine the scope and impact.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with IT and security team members to develop and enforce security policies and best practices.
  • Maintain and update security tools, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.
  • Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments on security-related issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Highly fluent in English
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a security operations or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, or LogRhythm.
  • Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and other security tools.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar are preferred.
  • Experience with cloud security on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
