Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work collaboratively as member of the administrative team of the school;
A Secondary School Graduation Diploma is required;
Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel in a Windows environment is required;
Experience in both using the Aspen Student Information System and applying this knowledge to record keeping and maintaining data integrity is required;
Experience and knowledge of Web Attendance is required;
Knowledge and experience of G-Suite is required;
Excellent interpersonal skills with students, teachers and the public;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Ability to complete assigned duties with minimal supervision;
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form;
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the administrative team of the school; and
Previous work experience in a secondary school office would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

Respond to telephone calls and perform reception duties;
Assist with the daily routine of the main office including computer data entry (i.e. attendance) and report generating;
Assist with the maintenance of attendance records for all students;
Assist with the automated phone system and monitoring of voicemail;
Respond to the concerns of staff, student, parents and the public;
Interact positively with students, staff and community using all modes of communication;
Support the vision, philosophy and procedures of the school; and
Other duties as assigned.
