Description:

  • Maintains, certifies and submits daily attendance records for billing.
  • Sets up and maintains emergency information for all individuals we serve at the LEC.
  • Receives all incoming calls for the agency and directs/transfers to the appropriate staff/program.
  • Greets and assists all visitors at LEC building entrance.
  • Handles and distributes all incoming (including residential routers) and outgoing mail.
  • Obtains necessary office supplies for the agency.
  • Sends out notice of any MDS schedule changes and in-service trainings to all families and caregivers.
  • In the absence of the Maintenance and Transportations Manager, is responsible to answer phones or maintain radio contact with transportation staff.
  • In the absence of the Operations Analyst, will assist in basic responsibilities with billing.
  • Is responsible for routine up-keep of office machines and contact repairman as needed.
  • Handles all funds received internally and through the mail (i.e. General Membership dues, consumer utility, special events, donations) including issuing receipts, compilation for banking transactions and entry into the accounting system.
  • Receives and disburses funds from the Friends for Life bank account as instructed by Friends for Life Committee.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters related to client programs and personnel circumstances.
  • Distributes information to clients and other agencies as needed.
  • Attends meetings/trainings as required.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with supervisors and is receptive to feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

High School Diploma or GED required, preference given to those with clerical experience.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Software and general computer skills, including Word, Excel and the ability to learn and effectively use agency software in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
  • Valid drivers license, with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience and an agency approved driving record.
