Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Graduate or equivalent
- One year as receptionist with clerical typing, computer literate, excellent telephone communication, able to read and write, comprehend oral and written instructions in English. A minimun of one (1) year experience working with the frail or elderly population is required
Responsibilities:
- Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
- Receiving participant, staff and visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Receiving and sorting all daily mail
- Maintains an adequate level of office supplies without over-ordering. Prepares office supply order for Eldercare. Avoids running short of office supplies.
- Collects daily and monthly statistics as needed by Center Manager
- Requests, obtains and posts participant medical records as directed by Center Manager.
- Accurately prepares requests for purchase and check request forms.
- Obtains copies of daily day care attendance and transportation schedules.
- Responds to inquiries concerning participants, being sensitive to privacy issue
- Contributes to patient and equipment safety and security by screening access to Eldercare.
- Responsible for signing in and out all participants, staff and visitors to Eldercare. Uploads all logs as directed.
- Responsible for Participant Badges. Ensuring all Participants have their badge when entering the Center and collection of badges when leaving the center.
- Presents a well-groomed, professional image. Keeps own area and common areas clean and well organized.
- Assists with scheduling, copying, scanning as directed.
- Updates calendars and schedules meeting and other administrative tasks as directed.
- Participate in and support Quality Improvement initiatives
- Know and adhere to philosophy and goals of Eldercare
