ABOUT YOU

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE)
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience in Structures, Highways and/or Drainage is essential for this role
  • You must hold the following competencies -
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor card
  • You must hold a full driving license

Responsibilities:

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We’re recruiting for a Section Engineer to join our Calvert Area (CA) of works. This role is based just outside of Buckingham. You’ll need to hold a full driving license to be considered for this role.
As a Section Engineer, you’ll be required to report to our Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out. You will be assisting with temporary works design schemes. We’d need you to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
We need you to be monitoring and coordinating our subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements. We would also need you to ensure that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, you will be required to assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
