RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Care, supervision and mentorship of campers ages 7-15
• Oversee the overall health, safety and wellbeing of the campers and staff in your section
• Oversee logistics of camp life for your section (mail, parent communications, birthday cards, parent letters, health centre, special programs, camp magic, staff and camper support, evening program schedules, staffing patrol schedules)
• Management and evaluation of counsellors in your section
• Support Directors and Senior Staff with operations of camp
• Contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for staff and campers at all times
  As a condition of employment, a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.

The age range of our campers is 6-15 years old and the camp is divided into three sections prep juniors (6-11), inters (12-13), seniors (14-15). The Section Head is responsible for the management of one section of campers and counsellor staff (Group of 30+ campers, and 10+ staff).

• Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a summer camp staff
• Coaching and experience working with youth is an asset
• Standard First-Aid with CPR-C
• Bronze Cross Lifeguard certification or higher
