Description:
JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
Manage the Receiving Bay of all birds according to the applicable food safety and quality standards. Ensure that health and safety requirements as required by statutory occupational health standards is met.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- 1-year relevant food processing experience.
- Must have adequate supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Working overtime when required
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily production targets in accordance with the overall production plan.
- Report any deviations from the daily production target plan.
- Implement corrective actions on any deviations on the plan.
- Ensure that food safety and quality standards and practices are maintained.
- Assist with the recording of payroll input information.
- Ensure good housekeeping.
- Monitor work attendance.
- Assist with employee leave planning.
- Maintain good employee relationships.
- Assist in maintaining discipline in the section.
