JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

Supreme Processing has an opportunity available for a Section Supervisor in our FP2 Processing Plant department. The successful candidate will be required to support production in monitoring, supervising, planning, and overseeing a selected section within the further processing plant. The sections will be allocated according to selected disciplines such as de-boxing, packing, machine operator’s, cleaning, and final product supervision.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Certificate in office administration/ supervisory role.
• Proven experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Customer service skills
• Computer literate (MS word, excel, outlook) is advantageous.
• Self -motivated and ability to work independently.
• Competent on job specific in-house job skills.
• Detail and accuracy orientated.
• Willing to work overtime.

• Monitor daily production targets in accordance with the overall production plan.
• Report any deviations from the daily production target plan.
• Implement corrective actions on any deviations on the plan.
• Ensure that food safety and quality standards and practices are maintained.
• Assist with the recording of time and attendance for their employees
• Assist with employee leave planning.
• Maintain all company housekeeping standards on a daily basis as per schedule and on time within their departments
• Monitor work attendance.
• Report all unsafe working conditions to the Shift Manager
• Maintain good employee relationships.
• Assist in maintaining discipline in the section.
• Accurate filling and controlling of all relevant documents
