Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Secure Communications Encryption Expert to support a US Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year assignment with option to renew. Assignment location may be one of seven locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per the Performance Work Statement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years of directly related experience OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certification(s).
  • Minimum 5 years of CRO experience.
  • Bilingual Arabic/English, spoken and written.
  • Supervisory and managerial experience in COMSEC management, installation, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance.
  • Experience providing advice and assistance to the RSAF regarding COMSEC and Crypto use within the RSAF.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience with US Type-1 Encryption devices.
  • Experience with Data Transfer Devices (DTD) Simple Key Loader (SKL) and Electronic Keying Management System (EKMS).
  • Strong understanding of the COMSEC requirements as it pertains to various RSAF aircraft platforms that incorporate Link 16 or secure communications, AWACS E-3A, F-15 C/D/S/SA, King Air, MRTT, SAAB 2000, TASS, Typhoon, etc.
  • Experience with GPS/SASSM, ARC-210, IFF, SG-250, KlV-77 and other secure communications hardware.
  • Demonstrated communication skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a US citizen with an active SECRET level security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop improvement/enhancement plans for the COMSEC management taking into consideration the technology obsolescence and modernization efforts.
  • Execute tasks assigned by Head of Department (HoD) related to COMSEC including attending meetings and conferences, preparing briefings, etc.
  • Work both individually and collectively within the guidelines and directions provided by Head of Department (HoD).
  • Establish comprehensive training programs for the use of the SKL.
  • Develop a training program for COMSEC Custodians, CROs, and end users.
  • Provide train-the-trainer instruction for COMSEC devices, OTO, and ancillary equipment.
