JOB DESCRIPTION
This role offers you opportunity to work with a team of Product Managers leading JP Morgan’s Direct Custody Markets in the UK, Denmark and Switzerland, as well as the ‘Fund Order Routing & Settlement Services’ (FORSS) offering. In addition, the role provides exposure to a an EMEA Custody Commercial segment with associated responsibilities in relation to Global custody clients.
JOB SUMMARY:
As part of the wider EMEA Custody team, the Global Custody Product Management function is hiring a Junior Product Executive who will be part of a team of product managers leading JPM Direct Custody markets in UK, Denmark and Switzerland , where JPM has direct connectivity to local Central Securities Depositories (CSD). The team is also responsible for an EMEA Commercial segment- the ‘DACH’ region, comprising of Global Custody clients domiciled in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, the team’s remit includes end to end Product Management ownership of ‘Fund order Routing & Settlement Services’ (FORSS) offering for Global Custody clients which provides a secure and automated solution for fund order management across Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds.
Reporting to the Head of the above team based in London, the successful candidate will work closely with the respective Custody Product Management leads across multiple EMEA locations and functions to ensure present and future product offering keeps pace with client expectations in the EMEA Direct Custody markets and the ‘FORSS’ offering, as well as providing support for Commercial segment responsibilities, which will include amongst other things, pricing of new deals, client profitability reviews, segment strategies, legal negotiations etc for Swiss, Austrian and German domiciled clients of Global Custody.
The present product and operating model for Direct Custody setups across UK, Denmark and Switzerland involves a strategically significant development for the custody product overall, and therefore the individual in the role will also be expected to support the development of the same model in other future locations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Relevant experience with prior knowledge of Direct and Global Custody, market participants, local regulations, product nuances, client requirements and market practice, all of which can be practically demonstrated through existing relationships, past experience and previous achievements.
- Background experience in Custody Settlement and/or Asset Servicing Middle Office/Operational functions
- Strong data analytical, communication and presentation skills with a capability to deliver concise, clear messages
- Proven track record of being a strong team player with collaborative skillsets, with the ability to liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders across product, Sales, Client Success, Product Development, Technology, Custody Middle office functions

Responsibilities:
- Providing ongoing market support to the respective Direct Custody Product Heads across UK, Denmark, Switzerland
- Provide Commercial segment specific support to immediate team in relation to deal models, Pricing, portfolio modelling, client profitability reviews, RFP responses etc
- Helping to execute the product strategy for the EMEA Direct Custody markets and the EMEA Funds custody offering, in line with the overall global direction of the Custody product.
- Supporting the Direct Custody market heads in representing the custody product, and the underlying clients in interactions with local regulators, Financial Market Intermediaries etc
- Assisting with local market advocacy for the product / clients with market infrastructure functions, and relevant trade representative groups across UK, Denmark, Switzerland
- Support product P+L and the Operating model for the Direct Custody EMEA markets, as well as ‘Fund Order Routing & Settlement Service’ offering
- Responsible for providing incisive monthly MIS for Business Review meetings with the head of EMEA Custody, pertaining to Financials, client, product and market developments relating to Direct Custody EMEA markets, as well as FORSS
- Act as a Business point of contact for liaising with Custody Middle office, and operational functions across Settlements, Asset Servicing
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline the Funds Custody Operating models across the business to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Assist with articulating the competitive proposition and key differentiators for JPM regarding the markets, significant business drivers, opportunities and risks.
- Help Direct Custody EMEA market leads and FORSS product lead to plan, develop and deliver solutions that deliver tangible benefits to end customers of JPM.
