JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Security Account Manager
Type: Full Time
Wages: $23.00 - $24.00 / hr
As a Security Account Manager at Allied Universal®, the job is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including management and professional development of security personnel. The Security Account Manager will build, improve, and maintain relationships with the client and employees: develop and retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance of weekly operating schedules, and providing after-hour emergency response as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in security/security management or with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software.
  • Valid G license - with a clean drivers abstract.

Work Environment:

  • The Account Manager may need to respond to emergency situations outside of normal working hours.
  • The position involves on-site visits.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily security operations within client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Maintain and implement emergency response plans and procedures

Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with client and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review security needs and performance.
  • Develop and present security reports to client and stakeholders.

HR Management:

  • Coach/train/mentor security staff
  • Assist with human resources matters
  • Assist with recruiting of new staff
  • Monitor and control expenses related to security operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

Schedules and Training:

  • Ensure all schedules and training requirements are up to date

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all security activities are documented accurately.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to client and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
