WHO YOU ARE
You will have:
- An ability to manage processes, security clearances, compile and submit reports. Work accurately and reliably within a team with minimum supervision
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office 365
- Basic understanding contractual vetting and clearance requirements and ability to communicate with stakeholders across multiple organisations.
- Understanding of spreadsheets, databases and data capture to enable records management.
- Basic awareness of UK Data Protection Act/General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Health and Safety Regulations
- Ability to attain and maintain DV Vetting.
- An understanding of Customer and staff Confidentiality
- Knowledge of GDPR and experience of managing processes desirable

Responsibilities:
You will work within the Defence and Protective Security team with responsibility for the administration of project ID cards and arranging building access codes with the security controller. You will be assisting the Vetting Co-Ordinator and supporting with BAU vetting requirements, and co-ordinating project clearances, personnel access requests and briefings. You will support the project lead with project task tracking including vendor PO’s.
In addition, you will be:
- Working in close liaison with the Vetting team to set up and review project clearance requests, applications and security pass requests, taking action to highlight/expedite requests as appropriate.
- Liaising with the security controller to ensure swipe access cards/codes have been programmed and activated for project personnel, visitors and 3rd party contractors. Also the administration of visitors ensuring they have been vetted, security briefed and received a H&S brief.
- Supporting the project lead with task tracking of project security documentation, reviews, updates including raised PO status and GRN’s within the security delivery of the project. Also assisting with monthly security report compilation.
- Documenting project security LWI’s and ensure owners/champions review and update annually as a minimum. You will assist with H&S audits and act as the H&S point of contact for the project.
