YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with a focus on security analysis, incident response, and threat intelligence.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
    Due to the nature of the role, you hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) Australian Government security clearance.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a specialist Security Analyst to join our Canberra Defence Support Team. Our team supports various applications, including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe products (AEM).
You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the integration and information systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating security threats to protect sensitive information and maintain the highest level of cybersecurity standards. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, threat intelligence, and incident response.
This role is based onsite in Canberra, ACT.
