SUMMARY
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to aid in effectively managing cyber-risk. Works on security initiatives of diverse complexity and scope, which may require in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Demonstrates expertise and practical knowledge of cyber risk management, policies, standards, mitigations and controls. May act as a team or project leader providing expertise or direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
TYPICAL EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
3+ years related experience and/or training
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, documents, reports & confirms effectiveness of security standards, policies, requirements, and controls and leads information security initiatives and projects of moderate to complexity.
- Demonstrates technical and non-technical expertise and exerts influence within the immediate team. within assigned information security pillars (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover) and exerts influence within the immediate team. Participates in cross-functional teams.
- Participates and may lead in the delivery security initiatives and projects of moderately or complexity. Represents team to partners.
- Consults with team members and other organizations, customer, and vendors on complex cyber-issues.
- Ensure information security policies and standards are understood and assists the business in assessing risks and applying standards and policies
