The Inverse Group is a local boutique recruitment agency that specializes in discovering the perfect fit across Technology, Mining, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energies. We are excited to have partnered with a Fintech to help discover their next Security Analyst to join their dynamic team based here in Perth.
The need has been driven through an aggressive expansion plan with a need to uplift their products and services to better support both their customers and internal users.
Reporting into the COO, the Security Analyst will be part of a growing technology team of 9 that is likely to expand to a team of 20 over the next 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level Security Analyst looking to take a step up working towards owning the security function for an organization with a national footprint. This role will see the successful Security Analyst identify and address security vulnerabilities, Manage the ISMS and collaborate with external cyber security providers, internal IT Service, cloud operations and compliance team to secure the organizations networks, systems and data.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience being part of a security team
  • Experience in SOC2 or ISO27001 compliance and standards
  • Demonstrable skills working with antivirus software, IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners
  • Previous experience managing an information security management system
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry practices

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring network traffic
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
  • Being responsible for the ISMS ensuring compliance and meeting security standards
  • Investigating and remediating security incidents
  • Conducting security awareness and best practices training
  • Conducting regular security audits and reports
  • Collaborating with the external security partner to ensure robust security measures are in place
  • Staying abreast of with the latest security trends, threats and solutions
