Description:

Want to influence the bigger picture? At Saab, you can realise amazing innovations that keep people and societies safe. Together, we can truly make an impact – and your part matters.
Your role
As a Security Analyst belonging to Group Security, you will be part of the Transportation Operations function at Saab. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, analyse, and report on potential threats and risks that could impact Saab’s transportation operations. You will work closely with various internal departments and external partners to ensure that transportation activities are carried out in a secure and efficient manner. This position allows you to contribute directly to safeguarding our logistics operations in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Perform detailed analyses of potential threats to the company’s transport operations, including terrorism, crime, sabotage, and other security risks.
  • Monitor global and local security developments that could impact Saab’s transport activities, reporting findings in required formats.
  • Develop and recommend security measures aimed at minimising transport risks.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, security, and legal departments, as well as external security partners, to ensure a coordinated and effective security set-up.
  • Assist in managing security incidents affecting transport operations and carry out follow-up analyses to enhance future security measures.
  • Provide training and information to staff regarding the current threat landscape.
  • Maintain accurate records of threat profiles, security actions, and incident reports.
  • Continuously develop and refine operations, evaluating both existing and new tools and methods.
  • Engage in additional security analysis projects as required.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with great attention to detail who can spot potential risks and take action before they become problems. You should be confident working both on your own and as part of a team, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. Being able to handle sensitive information with care and showing strong personal integrity are essential. You will also need strong analytical skills to make sense of large amounts of data. Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are key. We are also looking for someone creative, who can easily adapt to different perspectives and ways of thinking.

Required skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in criminology, security studies, international relations, war science, or a related field is required. Alternative educational backgrounds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in security, threat analysis, or a related discipline is essential, ideally within the government, transport, or logistics sectors.
  • Proficiency in using security and analytical tools, such as GIS systems, databases, and other relevant software, is necessary.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required, and additional language skills are a definite plus.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
