REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Motivated, communicative, teamwork-oriented professionals that feel comfortable working in agile environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, OR equivalent education or experience
  • Software development and security experience, typically obtained in 8+ years
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, security vulnerabilities, and remediation techniques
  • Experience with secure coding practices and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO)
  • Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Solid experience in Python, JavaScript, OR Go. Experience with Django or Angular is a plus!
  • Experience with security tools such as static code analyzers, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or relevant GIAC certifications
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with industry experts across security, machine learning, digital risk protection, and cyber threat intelligence to develop and implement security strategies for our products
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our product architectures and contribute to secure design and development practices
  • Research and implement cutting-edge security solutions to improve the security posture of our products while making the internet a safer place
  • Act as a technical leader for the department, helping to drive key technical decisions and mentoring other team members
  • Lead security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling for new and existing products
  • Help drive the technical direction of product and application security across the organization
