Job Description
Job Title: Security Audit Operations Analyst
Department & Team: Product Security
Reports to: Alex Collins
Location: Hungary (Flexible)
Summary:
We have an open position, within Genesys Cloud Product Security, and are seeking a candidate with security expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple audit-related tasks.
Genesys is changing how businesses communicate with their customers using a micro-service architecture, based primarily on Java and Python, and hosted in AWS. It is the function of our team to keep our customer, company and employee data safe, and to prove it to third-party auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance of security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Performance of technical walkthroughs with external auditors, for in-scope controls and domains, giving detailed demonstrations and explanations of how we protect the data within our environment.
Regular communication with all Genesys business units, aiding Product Security to drive audit activities. These activities will include, but are not limited to: scheduling upcoming audits and performing gap assessments. Gathering and presenting evidence of implemented controls during fieldwork. Remediation of findings once an audit has concluded.
Assist in the development and execution of operational policies and appropriate standards.
Assist in the creation of team documentation and streamlining of internal processes.
Assist with the implementation of security solutions related to the protection of data within the cloud.
Support colleagues with day-to-day audit management tasks, as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated understanding of AWS
- Understanding of security concepts related to SaaS solutions
- Demonstrated audit support experience
- Relevant experience related to any of the following is desirable: ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, HDS, ENS, HIPPA, SOC 2, IRAP, ISMAP, PCI DSS, HITRUST
- Experience using Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint is desirable
- Experience with Python or JavaScript is desirable
- Experience with Markdown, HTML or CSS is desirable
