As a Security Business Intelligence Associate within our Global Intelligence team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our firm’s people, technology, facilities, and reputation. You will lead efforts to track and analyze global threats, providing predictive and actionable intelligence that informs our security strategies. Your work will directly impact the safety and security of our global operations, making a meaningful difference every day. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • 4+ years of experience conducting investigative and/or research work, intelligence analysis, and/or data analysis
  • Experience in the corporate investigations/business intelligence sector or in a hands-on due diligence function in a financial institution
  • Specific experience in analyzing and assessing human-source intelligence
  • Experience in leading or helping to lead intelligence collection projects, working with defined processes and the documentation of procedures
  • Ability to drive and complete research projects in an environment that may require off-hours responses
  • Experience in executive communication (written and verbal)
  • Experience with vendor management, including assessment of vendor products and the provision of feedback
  • Undergraduate degree in Politics, International Affairs, or a similar field
  • Prior experience in banking, particularly on the client-facing side, and knowledge of industry trends and primary issues concerning banking clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite; experience with data visualization tools

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with internal JPMC clients to understand and define their intelligence requirements on a variety of individuals and entities
  • Communicate intelligence requirements clearly to colleagues and external vendors
  • Liaise with and commission intelligence reports from external partners
  • Undertake detailed assessment of intelligence reports to identify gaps and issues
  • Write and edit reports to ensure clarity and conciseness for senior internal clients
  • Conduct in-depth independent research on relevant subjects
  • Conduct short-term, bespoke research projects, solo or with other GSBI team members
  • Manage external vendors, including invoicing and feedback
  • Conduct regular administration for the GSBI team, including detailed record-keeping, to ensure adherence with JPMC controls
  • Support the Head of GSBI in overall attempts to grow and strengthen the program
