Security & Car Park Operative

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security & Car Park Operative, who will work at our client’s premises.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.
We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Door Supervision/Security Guarding Licence.
The Operative is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Duties as a Security & Car Park Operative

• Patrolling the site to ensure the safety and protection of the client, property, staff and visitors
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts with respect to matters such as Emergency Procedures, Building Safety, Fire and Bomb threat evacuations.
• Ensure that there is a thorough hand over at the completion of each shift with Security personnel

Job role requirements as a Security & Car Park Operative

• A valid SIA Licence - Door Supervision/Security Guarding
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the role; including short notice shift changes
• Basic computer literacy required
• Deliver excellent customer service
