SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Swift Experience and Exposure to swift messaging flow on International or domestic gateways
  • Experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing applications, ideally with Banking and/or Finance industry exposure.
  • Experience with following:
  • Firewall reviews and remediation.
  • Threat analysis.
  • Redhat, AIX and Windows Operating systems.
  • Azure virtual desktops and cloud technology.
  • Swift Cyber Security Program and Swift Attestations.
  • Working with Principal engineers and security architects.
  • Understanding of company security vulnerabilities, penetration testing and security policies and how to enforce it.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This role Supports and maintains the NABs Swift products for international payments and Domestic Payments (NPP) services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with performing yearly SWIFT CSP Attestation work for both SAG and PAG.
  • You will be partnering with various teams across the bank, including group security, risk and assurance, IT infrastructure, projects, the compliance team, and third-party vendors.
  • Together, we will ensure the systems are compliant to the NAB, regulators and Swift Cyber Security program.
  • Develop ways to simplify the security review process and improve the security posture of the system.
  • Understanding of Network security and data Security (CIA of information systems). Reviewing documentation/requirements for firewall flows, work with the team to establish (developing, raising and verifying) firewall rules.
  • Understanding of security concepts like MFA, least privileges, Firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability management etc.
  • Understand the requirements of various regulatory and industry frameworks and perform security assessments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and help produce quality security assessment/audit-related documentation.
  • Identifying and documenting security risks and managing findings through remediation.
  • Perform regular swift firewall reviews and recommend improvements as required.
