About the role

Our CISO team’s mission is to be in the vanguard of digital banking security, fostering a safe and prosperous financial future for our stakeholders while setting pioneering new industry standards for security and trust in the digital age.

  • Financial Services Experience: gain valuable experience in the highly regulated financial services industry, working on cutting-edge security solutions for digital assets and core banking.
  • Hands-On Experience: work directly with our security team to manage and enhance security controls in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Cloud Security Focus: participate in cloud security posture management, secure configuration, and monitoring of cloud-based services.
  • GRC Involvement: assist in conducting risk assessments, supporting compliance efforts, building controls frameworks and implementing governance practices within the organization.

What we expect

You’re a recent graduate with a passion for cyber security and cloud technology, eager to develop your skills in AWS and Azure environments. You have a foundational understanding of security principles, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization. You’re keen to learn about GRC practices, including risk assessments, compliance and controls. You’re detail-oriented, a problem solver, and ready to contribute to a growing team in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic Cloud Knowledge: understanding of AWS and Azure services, including IAM, VPCs, and security tools.
  • Infrastructure Familiarity: exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Container and Orchestration Understanding: basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Programming Skills: basic proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and scripting.
  • Governance, risk and compliance awareness: foundational knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) principles, including risk assessments and compliance frameworks.
  • Web Application: intermediate knowledge of major class of vulnerabilities affecting web applications. Familiarity with OWASP testing frameworks. Ability to triage vulnerabilities identified by automated tools during the SSDLC
  • Agile and DevSecOps: strong understanding of these models promoting agility and security in development processes is an advantage.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt to evolving challenges, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
