CANDIDATES SHOULD BE AT A SENIOR LEVEL OR POSSESS HIGH-LEVEL SKILLS WITH SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN:

• SailPoint IIQ
• Java (JavaBeans)
• Building software systems outside of SailPoint

ADDITIONALLY, EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS:

• Python (our primary language for services outside SailPoint)
• JavaScript / TypeScript (we plan to build several user-facing applications)
• AL / LLM (we aim to leverage LLMs in several of our products)
• SailPoint ISC
• Infrastructure as Code / Configuration as Code

The Identity and Access Management team manages the lifecycle of identities for authentication and authorization within our organization, as well as overseeing Access Governance. Essentially, we develop the software that controls who should have access to what resources across the company.
One of the key software tools we use for this purpose is SailPoint IdentityIQ.
We aim to make substantial improvements in how we work with SailPoint IIQ and may eventually migrate to the SailPoint Identity Security Center.
This role’s primary focus will be as a SailPoint IIQ Subject Matter Expert (SME), working directly with SailPoint IIQ code. This person will also be part of a larger team handling all aspects of identity and access management.
They’re expected to engage in discussions, collaborate closely with others, share their expertise, contribute to other software projects, and be an active team member—this is not a siloed role.
We encourage a coding-first approach to solutions and system configuration.
For this role, we require a candidate who is first and foremost a strong software engineer and coder. We avoid solutions that depend on manual operations and therefore are not seeking candidates who are strictly system operators or sysadmins.
