Description:
Amentum is seeking a Security Facility Manager in Lorton, VA.
You have excellent communication, time management, and detail-oriented skills, which you’ll put to use overseeing the security and facility management of our warehouse. You will connect with our customers, team members and facility vendors in person and via email or Microsoft Teams to coordinate access to customer internal systems, facility access and badging for new employees. You will identify and protect company assets and employees through the development and implementation of security protocols and perform security process evaluations and inspections. Also, under your skillful management, you will plan and coordinate all external vendor inspections or repairs to the facility systems or structure to meet applicable health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor security procedures in accordance with military rules and regulations, the National Industrial Security Operating manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives, DoS, DoD and other applicable government sponsor regulations, procedures, and government directives.
- Interfaced with appropriate government and military representatives on force protection, OPSEC, physical security, and security engineering and integration services. Assist and maintain site security certification for the building(s). Reviewed and investigated non-compliance security issues, and ensured all personnel complied with force protection requirements. Investigated and eliminated unsafe or unethical security practices.
- Conducted physical site audits based on developed standards. Supports a wide range of security issues including architectures, TEMPEST, electronic data traffic, and security access. Creates and maintains Security Plans (SP), Information System Profile, and other security related documents. Provided consulting support and made recommendations to site management regarding appropriate timely and necessary improvements or in implementing contractual requirements. Provided supervision and support.
- Coordinates with HR and DoS to include hiring, onboarding, training, and other important information.
- Facility Manager conducts all internal inspections of HVAC, fire extinguishers, electrical, and building structure. Able to do in-house repairs or submit outside source.
- Facilitates with Accounts Payable with invoicing for all building concerns. Ensures all inspections by the Client (DoS) are compliant.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business operations, security administration, logistics, supply chain management or a related field, and at least 1 year of security administration experience
- Or Associates degree in business operations, security administration, logistics, supply chain management or a related field, and at least 3 years of security administration experience
- Or High school diploma/GED, and at least 5 years of security administration experience
- Experience with facility management
- Must be able and willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting materials weighing up to 40 lbs., as well as work in a warehouse environment in adverse temperatures
- Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

- IHMM’s Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) credential
