Description:

JASARA PMC is seeking a qualified Security Manager to lead our security operations and ensure the protection of our personnel, assets, and information. This role is central to our commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and aligning our security strategies with organizational goals.
The Security Manager will oversee the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, making a significant impact on our organization’s security posture.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in security management, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
  • Certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet organizational and legal requirements.
  • Manage and oversee security personnel and contractors, ensuring effective deployment and training.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and manage incidents, conducting investigations and reporting as necessary.
  • Monitor security systems and access controls, making improvements as required.
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement and external security agencies to ensure coordinated responses to incidents.
  • Provide regular training and awareness sessions to staff on security procedures and best practices.
  • Submit a monthly Security report detailing security issues and areas for improvement
  • Audit Contractors security measures and ensure compliance with QIC procedures
  • Provide support to QIC project teams and contracted security resources
  • Conduct reviews of operational asset security plans to ensure integration with ongoing construction security requirements
  • Conduct in field security audits to ensure security controls and procedures are being correctly implemented
