Security Officer

at  Emerald Queen Casino

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the casino environment is safe and secure for patrons and employees of the casino. Duties include completing reports, inspects buildings and equipment while securing all access points. Provides superior guest services to guests of our casino.
Starting wage is $23.18/hr, increasing to $23.72/hr upon successful completion of 90-day orientation period. All full-time positions include stellar 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental and Vision benefits.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior security experience is required
• Able to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Basic report-writing skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be in excellent physical condition
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
  Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
