REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in security.
  • Valid Security 1A licence
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (refreshed every three years)
  • (Providing CPR – HLTAID001) – (refreshed annually)
  • (Provide basic emergency life support – HLTAID002) and (Provide first aid – HLTAID003)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • This role is physical at times and requires a basic level of fitness. You will be required to often walk more than 10,000 steps per shift and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer focused Security professionals who have a passion for maintaining the health and safety of the building, guests & patrons, and team members to join the team a Security Officer in a Full-Time capacity.
As a Security Officer, you will be an integral member of the ICC Sydney team, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of customers, team members and company property. As a customer-facing role, you will handle stakeholder interactions with diplomacy and respect, providing advice and solutions to suit the needs of the client and ICC Sydney all while maintaining vigilance over ICC Sydney assets.
This role is primarily a building security role with exposure to events. No two days are the same where shifts can be actively working with our events and clientele to administrational duties such as audits, inspections, and reporting.
There will be a lot of opportunities to develop within the Security department and progress within your career. In addition, this role will require 24/7 availability and work a rotating (four shifts on, four shifts off) roster, 12 hours per shift.
