Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day security operations and serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters.
- Patrol both the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to identify potential safety and security risks, as well as undesirable conditions.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property.
- Actively monitor the CCTV system, ensuring full compliance with the Data Protection Act regarding CCTV usage.
- Encourage and enforce safe work practices throughout the hotel.
- Maintain constant communication with the Front Desk and Night Teams to ensure coordinated security efforts.
- Skillfully obtain witness statements, and prepare detailed incident and accident reports. Ensure all administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate logs, records, and notebooks, are completed to a high standard.
- Regularly review and maintain the daily activity log, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that all items being removed from the hotel are properly checked, pass-outs are processed correctly, and any discrepancies are appropriately referred or withheld.
- Initiate and, when necessary, personally conduct investigations, ensuring that clear, concise, and accurate documentation is maintained throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support during major incidents, such as fires, bomb threats, or terrorist attacks, ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff
