SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or its equivalent
Current DCJS Armed Security Officer certification or law enforcement experience
Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET Clearance
Ability to physically carry and handle company approved firearms in compliance with current DCJS standards
Possess basic computer skills; familiar with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Email
Possess a valid clean Driver’s License
Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

Law Enforcement

JOB PURPOSE:

The Security Police Officer is responsible for providing superior service and maintaining a safe environment for Dynamic Aviation employees, customers, and guests through a combination of proactive high visibility patrols, access control system, and camera surveillance. The position is responsible for enforcing security rules and protecting company and government property and assets.
Part-Time
Hours: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Bridgewater, VA

DUTIES:

Patrols all sections of the property to identify security abnormalities and suspicious circumstances, taking appropriate action as required
Provide for a safe, secure environment by enforcing policies and procedures and applicable Virginia State Statues that enhance the protection of people, property, and assets of the facility
Responds to emergency situations
Interface with police, fire and other emergency service personnel
Interviews, investigates and documents all relevant incidents in accordance with Security policy
Collect and complete paperwork (Daily Report, Vehicle Log, etc.)
Ensure runway and ramp environments are safe for aircraft, visitors, and employees
Meets attendance guidelines of the position and adheres to regulatory and departmental policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
