JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Interacts with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• SIA Licence
• 2yrs experience as a Security Officer
• Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle
• RTW and 5yr checkable history
• Confident and vigilant
• Good customer service
• Conflict management
• IT literate

As a vigilant observer, you will report activities and incidents at the client site, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors.
