Description:
Silver Lake Hospital of Newark, NJ is seeking to hire a full time Security Officer to maintain overall security of the facility. The Security Officer will work various shifts including weekends.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for maintaining overall security of the facility, including the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property. The Security Officer is responsible for the enforcement of hospital safety and security policies, performing required rounds and dealing with emergencies as they arise. In addition, the Security Officer must demonstrate the ability to think clearly and independently and work collaboratively with all peers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current state-issued drivers license in good standing.
- Valid SORA certification.
- At least one (1) year of security experience preferred.
- Must possess emotional maturity, honesty, reliability, as well as an ability to understand and follow instructions.
