We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at our client site in North West London. Our site is an international film studio home to producing many hit films over the years. As a Security Officer you will bring excellent customer service, have a super smart personal presentation and entrusted to protect premises ensuring a safe working environment for visitors, staff and contractors
As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.
A TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SECURITY OFFICER:
- To operate internal / external security patrols on a regular basis ensuring familiarity of site layout, building and processes.
- Upkeep of any logbooks and other administrative tasks pertaining to the security desk and work load activities – archiving daily paperwork, clear reporting writing, ID card management, IT movement, records, etc
- Meet and greet visitors, staff in a professional and polite manner, advise and direct and support reception staff during sign in/out process.
- Check and verify entry passes and maintain security awareness.
- Detect and deter unauthorized activity throughout the site and report any suspicious persons immediately to the Supervisor.
- Perform reception duties as set out in assignment instructions.
- To investigate any matters of concern reported by the onsite supervisor.
- Provide a visible preventative security presence in building fully conversant with the layout of the site and be aware of threats and challenges faced by the site
Produce all operational documentation in an accurate and compliant format. Transmit all documents and Information in a timely secure manner using the cascade process, incident reports submitted within 2 hours.
