Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Information Security team in CRH are looking for a Securiy Operations Analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible for supporting the line manager in delivery of services and improvements provided with the Group Information Services team, alongside maintaining ownership and accountability for services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar type role preferably within a SOC or NOC environment
- Third Level qualification (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Security or Engineering.
- Relevant professional accreditations such as CISSP or similar
- Experience or exposure to process and frameworks such as ITIL, CoBIT, NIST, ISO27000, SOx etc.
- Familiarity with the laws, regulations, industry standards and guidance pertaining to Data Protection, Information Security, electronic payments etc.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to and provide remediation actions / advice to user(s) who report security incidents or issues.
- Monitor a range of security tooling as part of day-to-day role. Critically analyse and respond to various type of alerts and incidents.
- Understand security landscape across CRH companies and perform investigations on multiple platforms as required.
- Create and review documentation and processes regarding recurring issues, new operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
- Participate in the development of security alerts, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Implement practices and support security-focused tools and services.
- Work closely with selected third-party vendors and CRH companies to ensure timely identification, containment, and eradication of issues.
- Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with groups involved across the CRH.
- Operate vulnerability management solutions and services while providing guidance and informed reporting.
- Perform scanning and assessments using tools and services for CRH.
- Help the team drive continual improvements for all services operated by Information Security Operations team.
- Effective prioritisation, time management and ability to operate in a high functioning team.
