  • Must be Highly Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Applications

Allied Universal® is hiring a Badging Officer. The Badging Officer will be responsible for processing security and access permissions for personnel and others requiring building access. The Badging Officer will be familiar with specified procedures, policies and process’s as set forth for the position in post orders. This position will also activate or deactivate photo identification cards, program of access using the client software program, monitor CCTV, alarm programming for guard responses, answer security telephones, office filing, record keeping, and other similar duties as specified in post orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • High proficiency using IT applications, data entry and retrieval, and keyboard skills to a speed of at least 40 WPM with at least 75% accuracy
  • Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications and be able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Must possess experience in basic security analysis, problem solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment, and triaging reports
  • Ability to work well in intense situations

  • Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and whenappropriate, emergency response activities
  • Serve as the initial point of contact in emergency situations which may affect the health and safety of employees
  • Respond to alarms in a timely manner and in compliance with defined SLAs, while effectively investigating the root cause in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Actively monitor several screens, systems, and events simultaneously, with the ability to shift priorities as needed
  • Communicate risk notifications and alerts with clarity and professionalism to the appropriate parties as required per the standard operating procedures
  • Create reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; escalate any priority issues to appropriate parties
  • Proficiently research possible incidents, either discovered from resources provided, or provided by 3rd party partners
  • Constantly communicate to support travelers, employees, and offices during emergency situations
  • Gather and record contact information
  • Successfully meet all KPI and metrics expectations
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for the Crisis Management & Travel Security SOC
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism in all activities
  • Deliver world class Security Services by understanding and working closely with technical security implementations and incident management programs
