Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to safeguard all casino assets in the parking lot and casino premises by patrolling surrounding areas. Observe and report any unusual or prohibited activity and ensure team member/guest safety. Responsible to respond to calls of service and/or emergencies.

  • Maintain visibility and patrol all parking areas/entire casino premises to deter crime and safeguard assets.
  • Performs assigned work duties in a guest service friendly and safe manner.
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests and general public.
  • Resolve any team member or guest/vendor disputes by directing them to the proper supervisor for resolution.
  • Documents and prepares accurate and complete written records and reports in response to incidents, procedure violations, or criminal activities as responded to, observed and/or witnessed.
  • Maintains company, team member and guest confidentiality on all activity.
  • Control restricted parking areas and assign parking when necessary.
  • Must attend and successfully complete mandatory training programs: Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, CPR/First Aid, AED, etc.
  • Performing security bicycle patrol and required to attend/pass bicycle patrol training course and be able to perform all required motor skills (as assigned).
  • Be accountable to regulatory documents.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
  • Maintain visibility while on duty to minimize the opportunity for loss or damage.
  • Builds relationships inside and outside of their department / team to improve ways of working and provide a great guest experience.
  • Models for the team, a strong work ethic and is visible, available and present for the guest and their team.
  • Makes judgment calls based on understanding Legends Casinos’ Purpose, Values and Objectives while utilizing research, knowledge, and experience.
  • Proactively shares guest feedback with executive management and peers in the spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Finds ways to make good use of their strengths and talents.
  • Be approachable and show empathy when appropriate.
  • Be visible, alert and anticipate potential problem area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

SUPERVISION EXCERCISED: None.
LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class III gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Washington State Drivers License required. One (1) year experience required in one of the following areas: Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Emergency Response or two years of customer service. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to lift or move (50) lbs. or more. Stamina to ride a bicycle for prolonged periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day. Mobility to bend and/or stoop frequently. Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation. Must be able to pass a physical fitness exam prior to hire. Ability to work any shift, work nights, weekends, holidays and events as required
