Description:

We are looking for a Security Programme Manager to join the team at VetPartners. This role will be part of a brand new team.
The Security Programme Manager will lead and be responsible for the Security Programme of work as defined by the business. This is a standalone position with no line management; however, this role relies heavily on building working relationships with IT and business colleagues, third parties and external stakeholders and a collaborative working style is essential. Working with a range of stakeholders across the business, this role will ensure the successful delivery of security programme workstreams from inception to productive embedding into BAU. This role operates in a highly complex environment across Europe and will be expected to work at pace.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and lead cybersecurity projects and programs from initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Responsible for defining project plans, controlling project budgets and managing risks to ensure successful delivery of security projects
  • Develop a security portfolio workstream plan that includes milestones, tasks and activities
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Assist with engagement management, including customer communication and issue escalation
  • Coordinate financial approvals and budget tracking
  • Produce relevant, timely, stakeholder appropriate reports
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors and manage vendor relationships
  • Oversee transition into BAU ensure compliance with security standards
  • Conduct full life-cycle monitoring and management of cybersecurity initiatives
  • Collaborate with various teams and organizations to achieve project goals
  • Respond to compliance requests related to security assessments

What we need from you:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in programme or project management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams Security Programme Manager 2

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) or willingness to learn
  • Relevant certifications in project management
  • Experience managing transformation projects
