POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and selling innovative customized security and/or fire alarm offerings.

  • Create multiple proposals that allow customers to accomplish their varied goals, needs and budgets.
  • Develop security and/or fire alarm offerings to potential customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.
  • Demonstrate the ability to close sales based on value not price.
  • Promote collaboration, partnerships and positive relationships with customers.
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains customer confidence by keeping customer information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work well with others both internally and externally in stressful situations.
  • Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Candidates should have experience in either: Security Sales or Fire Alarm Sales with knowledge of local codes.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and negotiating skills.
  • Intimate knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Should have high presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Should operate effectively and with minimal supervision.
  • Keeps current with market conditions and product trends
  • Computer skills with knowledge of MS office 365.

WORKING CONDITION / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Office environment: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
