We are looking for a Site Supervisor on a fixed term basis for one of our Christchurch mall sites.
The role is highly dynamic and provides significant opportunity to grow with a supportive organisation committed to developing you.

About the role:

  • Building and maintaining relationships and communication: The site security supervisor is responsible for maintaining communication and positive relationships with stakeholders at the site, including centre management, retailers, customers and other partners.
  • Training of new staff and consistent coaching of existing staff
  • Leading and driving the team
  • Rostering and assisting the office team with shift coverage
  • Attending Client Meetings
  • Patrolling the mall
  • Incident reporting and investigation
  • Monitoring and responding to threats
  • Maintaining records, daily and monthly reporting

About you:

  • Some security experience or a Green COA Security License is advantageous; however if not & you are the right person, we can help you obtain one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
  • Prior experience in leading and coaching a team
  • Able to take directives on board from Operations Managers
  • Strong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.
  • Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest
  • Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Must be highly skilled in communication and leadership
  • Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility
  • Strong focus on delivering high quality security-solutions
  • Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness – able to walk and stand for long periods of time
