Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist Architect to join our information security team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect the organization’s infrastructure and data. This role is crucial to ensure our IT operations are secure, comply with regulations, and support our business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture Design: Develop and maintain security architectures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation measures.
- Implementation of Security Controls: Define and oversee the implementation of technical and administrative security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and identity and access management systems.
- Security Review and Audit: Perform periodic security reviews and audits to ensure the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (IT, Development, Legal, etc.) to ensure security solutions are appropriate and do not interfere with business operations.
- Security Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Knowledge Update: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in information security and evaluate their potential application within the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of security architectures, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field. Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desired.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, identity and access management, cryptography, and cloud security.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform risk and vulnerability analyses and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership Ability: Ability to lead teams and projects, work independently, and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with security regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS, among others.
