Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

A key member of the Operational team responsible for Managing a team of Security Officers to ensure the highest level of security and safety of both customer buildings and personnel is met.
We are recruiting a Security Professional based on site at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service building. No experience is required as full training is provided, just a positive customer service approach to everything you do.
You will effectively supervise on a day-to-day basis the operation of the security team, ensuring that an exceptional end-to-end service is provided as per contract requirements. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to. Your day will consist of delivering unrivalled customer service in the meeting and greeting of all Court users within a unique environment, while monitoring and securing the building. You will be working Monday to Friday, set hours per week, with flexible and part-time hours if required. There is no weekend or night work, but we can often offer overtime on a Saturday, Sunday, and Bank holidays. The weekends will be paid at a generous rate of 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays, alongside a rate of 1.5x for weekday overtime outside of normal court operating times.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first line manned guarding to the assigned contract
  • Ensuring that all duties carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
  • To provide exceptional level of service to all staff and visitors to the site
  • To be a point of contact for all emergency situations
  • To operate and control the CCTV system
  • To ensure regular patrols of the site while ensuring all standards are maintained
  • Duty manager cover on weekends on rotation
  • To manage team rotas and Timegate systems
  • Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first line manned guarding to the assigned contract
  • Ensuring compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, SIA Licensing & Risk Assessments
  • Ensuring that all duties carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner
  • To provide exceptional level of service to all staff and visitors to the site

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • SIA License (Door Supervision) - essential.
  • Essential – an understanding of a Manned Guarding environment.
