Marcomm Integrated Business Solutions part of the Telecon Group of Companies is looking for a Security Systems Project Estimator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator is responsible for preparing project estimates regarding Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Tender (RFT), and Request for Proposals (RFP). The estimates will include projects pertaining to Marcomm Security Systems.
This is a remote opportunity.

• Minimum of 5 years estimating, strategizing and preparing proposals within the Security Systems and networking industry, resulting in successful & profitable projects
• Security Equipment Product knowledge is a required
• Strong understanding and knowledge of integrating access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom and other building systems from various manufacturers.
• Advanced knowledge/certification on at least one Access Control and one CCTV product is a definite asset
• Access control knowledge/certification (some of our current products: Kantech, Salto, Avigilon)
• Video surveillance knowledge/certification (some of our current products: Hanwha, Avigilon, Axis)
• Previous hands-on experience as a Security Systems Installer or Service Technician is a definite asset
• Security design experience (CPTED, ASIS Member, Sales Support) and drawing experience (AutoCAD, BlueBeam, ProCore)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Excellent negotiation and consulting skills
• Experienced and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
• Possess a valid driver’s license and has access to a vehicle in the event that an occasional client site visit is required
