As a Security Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will lead and manage complex security initiatives across the organization, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and the integrity of our systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to implement security strategies, manage risk, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role involves balancing technical expertise with strong program management skills to deliver security solutions that align with business objectives. You’ll be responsible for overseeing incident response efforts, driving continuous improvement in security practices, and acting as a key liaison between technical teams and executive leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical program management or related roles in the technology industry, particularly in security
  • Strong understanding of Information Security, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams and driving security adoption through strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with Engineering and Information Technology teams, developing strategies for system reliability and operational efficiency. • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams). • Passion for technology, innovation, and enhancing user engagement through platform strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an informational security program and plan
  • Collaborate with all functional groups to define and execute the security program and plan
  • Identify security trends, customer needs, and technical feedback to inform security priorities and feature enhancements.
  • Drive the evolution of the ABBYY security strategy, including people, process and technology
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize security operations
  • Identify compliance issues, pain points, and opportunities for improvement through comprehensive feedback, testing, and data analysis.
  • Work with teams to prioritize and implement improvements that streamline workflows and enhance security robustness.
  • Measure and monitor cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Technical Program Management
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of cross-functional security-related initiatives, including project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure alignment and efficient collaboration among teams to deliver key projects on time.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks across technical domains, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Allocate adequately trained/skilled resources to implement the information security program and plan.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the security team.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from all stakeholders to optimize the security plan and program.
  • Iterate on security processes based on user feedback, market trends, and technological advancements.
