POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing and optimizing acquisition and portfolio credit risk strategies. This role requires a high level of analytical expertise, particularly in data extraction, manipulation, and visualization, with a strong focus on SQL and Python. The ideal candidate is adept at analyzing historical data to spot trends and is passionate about process improvement to drive profitability and growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, in the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and automation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
