JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the allocation, prioritization and implementation of test requirements to enable test event planning and execution to characterize Missile Defense System capabilities and limitations and support fielding of integrated and effective capabilities to the Warfighter.
• Develop Test Objectives Memoranda (TOM) for MDA Flight and Ground Test Campaigns. Lead TOM comment adjudication ahead of the MDA boarding process.
• Perform coordination with MDA internal and external stakeholders on test requirements including the Warfighter community, the Operational Test Agency (OTA), and the MDA analysis/assessment organizations to solicit and document test objectives and evaluation criteria.
• Support the MDA Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP) development and maintenance process.
• Present TOM summary packages and/or IMTP related products at the System Engineering Integration Council (SEIC) as informational or decision briefings for assigned test events.
• As required, review and trace MDA System Level and Element Level requirements and interfaces within the MDA System Specification, Element Specifications, Specification Change Notices/Document Change Notices (SCN/DCN) and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
• Support the Systems Engineering Test Requirements Working Group (SETRWG).
• Support the Ground Test Engineering Requirements Integrated Product Team (GTERIPT).
• Support other MDA Technical Working Groups as required to improve system integration and communicate test requirements.
• Review and provide comments to MDA 2-Letter TMT tasks associated with test requirements management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have BS and at least 3 years of experience supporting missile defense programs or other related defense programs.
• Must be capable of interfacing verbally and in writing with MDA Subject Matter Experts (SME) and internal/external stakeholders.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Must be able to work independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).
• Must have a solid foundation in system engineering processes.
• Must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less customer environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MS in STEM field and 3 years of experience supporting missile defense programs or other related defense programs.
• Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Occasional Travel; 10% or less.
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
