OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design and a strong understanding of kitchen functionality and aesthetics. This role involves collaborating with clients to create customised kitchen layouts that meet their needs while also enhancing the overall appeal of their homes. The Kitchen Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and design expertise.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in CAD software and Sketchup for creating detailed designs.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to kitchen layouts.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to effectively sell ideas and upsell products based on client needs and preferences.
• A keen eye for design aesthetics, coupled with practical knowledge of kitchen functionality.

Experience:

• Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)

• Consult with clients to understand their kitchen design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed kitchen designs using CAD software and Sketchup, ensuring accuracy in measurements and specifications.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback to refine and finalise designs.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the kitchen.
• Assist clients with upselling additional products or services that complement their kitchen design.
• Maintain an organised project timeline, ensuring all designs are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of the design plan.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques.
