Description:
Self Employed Support Worker in CB3
£15 per hour
A lives in South Cambridgeshire, when his condition allows he enjoys socialising, art and creative writing.
A has a cognitive injury & other ailments.3 hours per week @ £15 per hour (self employed rate)DBS clearance is required
Initially you will be supporting me with domestic things, tidying, de-cluttering and on occasion some admin, paperwork & emails. When we get to know each other some of the support will be for accessing the community.You will have experience of supporting others in the community, if you have knowledge of chronic fatigue that would be great or, you should have a willingness to learn about it to understand the challenges it brings to daily living.
Someone who has the skills to give me support while building my confidence & promoting my independence.
You should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.Have a quality of gentleness, be hardworking, reliable, patient and trustworthy
