Description:
AsterTech is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modeling Engineer to contribute to an advanced semiconductor process optimization project. The role focuses on AI/ML model development, CFD simulations, and process automation for high-precision semiconductor manufacturing applications.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for professionals looking to apply their expertise in AI/ML and CFD modeling to real-world challenges in semiconductor process optimization. Due to the nature of the work, only US Citizens or Green Card holders are eligible to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in AI/ML algorithms (e.g., Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Optimization Algorithms).
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
- Experience with CFD modeling and simulations for process engineering applications.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing process modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven process optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible work environment.
- US Citizenship or Green Card required due to project requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with in-situ process monitoring, sensor data analysis, and automation for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Familiarity with digital twins, Bayesian Optimization, and real-time control systems.
- Prior work in semiconductor CVD processes, compound semiconductor growth, or related areas.
- Knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC) for AI/ML and CFD applications.
- Experience in developing high-level system architecture from technical narratives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI/ML models (e.g., Neural Networks, Bayesian Optimization, Evolutionary Algorithms) for process parameter optimization.
- Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations (e.g., using Ansys FLUENT, COMSOL, STR Virtual Reactor) for semiconductor process modeling.
- Utilize data-driven modeling to optimize manufacturing processes and improve system efficiency.
- Design and validate predictive models using historical data, experimental results, and physics-based simulations.
- Integrate AI/ML-driven process control with real-time monitoring and feedback loops.
- Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, AI/ML specialists, and semiconductor processexperts.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and optimization strategies.
